The story captured me right away and flowed well, full of many layers that captivated me in mind and spirit and emotion. My husband was next to me in bed reading as I read the final pages. I justed sobbed. Our love resonates with that of Kikpona and Morgo...yet we have been blessed to have had almost 33 married years.

I read Iron Heart immediately after you were here. WHAT A FUN AND DELIGHTFULLY ENJOYABLE BOOK!! I am not usually a fantasy kind of reader but got caught up in the story of this girl and her young brother. Can't wait to see what happens in the next one.... Pat P

Hi Victoria. I really like your books. I never want to put the book down. My mom bought your books at a homeschooling event. I started reading it right away. I started writing a book in December. ...I bought 57 books over the course of the weekend and I chose to read yours first. I didn't have time to start it before Sunday morning on the drive into church, but I had it finished by supper Sunday evening. I was incredibly curious and intrigued to see what a 16 year old and fellow fantasy lover would write.
I was impressed by the potential displayed in your first published work of fantasy. The book kept me eagerly reading to the last page, it definitely held my interest. I thought the animals a very unique and original component of the story. Many stories have talking animals, but I haven't read one that involved them quite the way you did. It reminded me a bit of Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia in that respect, but it had it's own flavour. I also liked how you described Kikpona's crown. I had a very clear and vivid impression of it from the words you used.... Lindsay
- I just wanted to let you know that your talk at MACHE was very encouraging for me. You and your mom did a great job! As I told you there, I am writing a series with my best friend, and knowing that there is a young, homeschooling, Christian author around is very encouraging. So thank you! Your books are fabulous! I'm only on the third chapter of Iron Heart, but it is amazing! I love it! I've also read all the Mighty Stallion books except for the last one. Those, too, are great! I just finished reading IronHeart and it is absolutely amazing! I was completely caught up in your plot and your characters are WONDERFUL! I so identified with some of them that I was "right there with them" in the midst of battle. I look forward to your sequel, but I must confess that I will really miss ....(spoilers removed). - ...I am a huge fan of yours. I just finished IronHeart I loved it. I loved it so much that I couldnt stop reading it, I read it in 4 days! I also heard that you were making a movie. I want to be the first one to buy it! I just heard that you know one of my friends ... Anyways I just thought i would e-mail you and tell you how much I love your books! Last weekend you met my ..... at Bethany Lutheran College ... I just wanted to say thank you for ... the .... copy of Iron Heart. It is one of the best fictional books that I have ever read, and will definitely recommend to many friends and family. I found it very hard to put it down for any length of time!
